The habit that I find most challenging in this course is to view my problems as challenges. It is just my nature to become frustrated, especially in the area of technology, and to view my problems as problems, not a challenge to overcome. I hope to change that mentality as I become more proficient at the skills we are learning and pass this thought of viewing any problem as simply a challenge to my students.
The habit I find easiest as a lifelong learner is to accept responsibility for my own learning. I have always been one to try to figure out things on my own and am very driven to succeed in what I begin.
The most important habit for me as I work through this course will be to play. Sometimes I get caught up in the “task” and forget to enjoy it along the way. I want to become more comfortable and confident and begin to play and enjoy the possibilities that technology and our Web 2.0 class will open up.

I love that you want to pass along the “view problems as challenges” mindset to your students — what a gift that would be. I can’t help but think of the impact that would have on students’ lives if they internalized that early on… wow. I’m going to try and be better at it, too.
